tony stark

little Jack Frost thing (rotg)

His parents despaired of him, sometimes.  Bare feet were for children and for summer, when the world was green grass and soft loam.  Bare feet were not for the middle of winter, when icicles hung off the eves of houses and the tips of tree branches, when the snow drifts piled as high as his shoulders beside the road.

But it didn't matter to Jack.  He loved the feel of dirt between his toes, of blades of grass against his soles, and most of all he loved the bite of snow against his skin.  And despite all his parents' warnings, no matter how long he was outside, he never got frostbite.
